Conquest 1

If you would ask me, where would shoppers go in Asia? Without hesitation, I would vote Hong Kong as the Mecca of Shopping in Asia. However, not everyone is all that fortunate to frequent Hong Kong all the time just for shopping. For a shopaholic like me who resides in Malaysia, I say, shopping in Singapore is just as great. Just 30 minutes away from the shores of Malaysia (provided there is no jam on the causeway), nestled in between West Malaysia and Sumatra, Singapore is a whole new world on its own.

 Offering a large variety of brands; both local and international labels, Singapore is a definite shopper's destination.

Bear in mind, I'm in no way criticizing shopping in Malaysia, in fact i do most of my shopping here in Malaysia. However, the variety here is sadly lacking. This especially applies to higher end labels. The stock and variety of products the brand buyers here in Malaysia bring in are less compared to places like Hong Kong. Well, can't really blame them, since our buying power and hunger for such products here aren't that immense compared to other metropolitans. 

Anyway, i was down in Singapore just about a month back for the GSS (Great Singapore Sale). The shopping was AMAZING. Too bad brands carried by Club 21 Singapore; eg: Dolce&Gabbana, Armani, Balenciaga, Mulberry..etc.. haven't started their sales then. But there were certainly other Power Fashion Houses that has kicked off their sales season. 

Burberry being one of them, offered great deals.

I stumbled upon this grey tweed trenchcoat that looks like one off the Burberry Prorsum Runway. It was LOve at first sight! that a look at it;

Do they look similar?

The only difference is; one is Burberry Prorsum and the other Burberry London. 

Not forgetting the price! Obviously the Prorsum range is WAYYY more expensive. 

I saw some pieces from the Prorsum range in the Burberry Flagship store in Singapore and the discounted prices are equivalent to a Burberry London piece without discount! Looks like i would need to starve to get my hands on one of those masterpieces.

I love how versatile this piece is. Button up all the buttons and you get a trenchcoat. Unbotton them and it looks casual. Flip the buttons side ways and button them you get a brand new different design.

Then of course i couldn't stop there at the trenchcoat. 

My eyes browsed through the rack and spotted this lovely water resistant short burgundy

jacket. 

Love how everything just falls into place ;)

Next on the list are these beauties. Topper is his name. They were the only pair that caught my eyes when i glanced through the display rack. The description label says Topper is silver, but they definitely look gold to me. 

Shing aka. Queen Adelaide (from the movie "The Young Victoria"<--a must watch!),

 pointed out to me that the variety of my shoes are rather dull. After much contemplation, I have to agree it rather is. Most of them are either dark brown, black or dark blue. Time to think out of the box.

Hence i added Topper into my family of shoes. 

That's all i'm gonna blog about from Singapore. Most of my other conquest from this trip are all in boxes, on their way to Edinburgh. Practically shipped a big box of 20kg full of clothings.

If they get lost in transit, i'll cry a river!
